She Leads Media Fellowship
Empowering Early-Career Female Journalists
SheLeads Media Fellowship, was launched in March 2024, welcoming a vibrant cohort of early-career female journalists from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda. The 3-month intensive fellowship, proudly supported by Journalists for Human Rights (JHR), was designed with a strong focus on mentorship and coaching to equip the fellows with the skills, insights, and networking opportunities essential for their professional growth. The 2024 SheLeads Fellows represent a diverse range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, united by their passion for journalism and their commitment to using their voices to promote social justice and positive change.
