It started as an idea—born out of research into the needs of Kenya’s media and creative industries. Steve Mutua joined Baraza Media Lab as a student freelance photographer with an ambition to build something bigger. Through access to resources, training, and a supportive professional network, he established Blueberry Africa, a media company that has since expanded its reach to South Africa.
