Perspective: By Stephen Ngoli

Staring at the sun let it magnify my energy
Early morning rise, feel the vibe, feel the synergy
Love and light toujour, anything else is insanity
Darkness is just shadows, right from personalities

I promise you, perspective is perpetrating your experience
Taking everything so personally, go interior
Inside yourself and purge that complex, feeling inferior
And lighten up you’ve got to joke up, ‘why so serious?!’

I promise your perspective is the narrative you buy
Stories that you tell yourself to find some calm and get by
Pointing fingers everywhere else never to your eye
You have got to see yourself responsible for your life

The person that you hate the most if you just spend a day with them
Get to see their story, joy, intentions, flaws the pain in them
The humaneness reflected in them see that you can do relate

End of the day realize we mostly are the same.

So that as you bang the gavel say ‘I sentence myself ‘
As you pay all the respect say ‘I reverence myself’
Want to shoot, stab and kill say ‘I ended myself ‘
Want to quote the greats, success, say ‘I reference myself’
