Daniel Kalinaki
Nation Media Group's Editorial Operations in Uganda
Daniel Kalinaki heads Nation Media Group’s editorial operations in Uganda. He has previously edited The EastAfrican and Daily Monitor newspapers in a 25-year newsroom career. He is currently the chairman of the Uganda Editors’ Guild, President of the Eastern Africa Editors Society, a member of the Executive Council of The African Editors Forum, and a past board member of the African Centre for Media Excellence. When not irritating the powers-that-be through his weekly column in the Daily Monitor, Kalinaki can be found tinkering with DIY projects, dabbling in social enterprises, and playing tennis or football.
